The foundation's purpose is to support children, young people and adults with financial contributions to give them the opportunity to access necessary hearing technology.
Through hearing, we want to promote mental health, preserve music culture and support careers in the music and audio industry.
We strive to make a difference in people's lives through sound and music.

THE FRITHIOF FOUNDATION

Changing lives through hearing

The purpose of the foundation is to:

• Hearing for all: We offer hearing aids to babies, young people and the elderly who can't afford it, so that everyone has the opportunity to experience the gift of sound.

• Music and mental health: We support people around the world by providing instruments and safe places where they can play music together. This helps them preserve their cultural heritage, build communities and strengthen their psychological well-being.

• Boost creativity and confidence: We help individuals realize their dreams by supporting careers in music and sound design, opening doors to creative and professional growth.

• Support innovation, research and product development: We invest in research around, for example, tinnitus and other hearing-related conditions and injuries to find new solutions and improve the quality of life for those living with hearing challenges.

• Awarding scholarships and prizes: We support children and young people who aspire to be musicians or work in the audio industry by offering scholarships to help them achieve their goals.

• Run our own projects: We initiate and implement projects that are in line with the foundation's purpose of promoting hearing, music and mental health.

• Collaborate with other actors: We collaborate with foundations and funds, both nationally and internationally, to strengthen our efforts and reach more people in need of support.
